Fortress Building Products, which is known for its high-quality ornamental steel fencing, is proud to introduce Athens, ornamental aluminum fence panels built to Fortress’ high standards.

Like other Fortress Fence products, Athens is coated in a multi-stage process that uses an architectural-grade powder coat to protect the metal from the elements. Athens is rackable to adjust up to 42 inches for grade changes in the landscape, and features a patent-pending hidden fastener system for a clean finished look.

"Aluminum bridges the gap for people who like the look of metal but are worried about corrosion. Especially people who live near saltwater," says Jeff Schulz, general manager of Fortress Fence Products.

Athens Ornamental Aluminum fence panels will be available in Black Sand, Gloss Black, and multiple panel heights and styles so that customers can get a custom look. "Aluminum is lightweight, which means the panels are easy to handle," says Schulz.  "But lightweight doesn't mean flimsy. In fact, our Athens panels tested to over 450 pounds of midspan rail load versus the industry standard of 250 pounds. Plus, we offer a lifetime limited warranty that's second to none."

Athens Ornamental Aluminum fence will be available through Fortress distributors in May.
